On October 18th, we invited four influential moms from the Web to attend a special workshop with a special guest each.
So it was eight girls who had the chance to take some ME time for themselves, all afternoon, to create a backpack for their children, with the products from the new Katia collection, all while savouring a good coffee in the inspiring décor of the Club Tissus coffee shop in Saint-Hubert.
Sharing our passion for sewing
The workshop was given by two passionate seamstresses: Gabrielle, our buyer and manager of the Couture department for Club Tissus Saint-Hubert, as well as Valérie, our buyer and manager of the couture and accessory department for Club Tissus Laval. They took this opportunity to share their contagious enthusiasm for the wonderful and intricate world of sewing.
While some of our participants already had some knowledge about sewing, others were at their first experiences with a sewing machine. They all took the opportunity to listen and learn from the many tips that Gabrielle and Valérie directly implemented during the creation of the backpack.

All of them ended the workshop really proud to have made a beautiful backpack for their children and even happier that they took some me time to create something with their own hands.
