Out of inspiration for your holiday look this year? Here’s the perfect excuse to introduce the next big trend of spring (drum roll) … THE EMBROIDERY! Be ready, the embroidery will be everywhere, and I mean everywhere! Shoes, accessories, handbags, dresses, jackets, pants and so on. You will certainly be able to wear this trend as you want without any difficulty!
We’ve put together a perfect holiday look for the trendsetter or embroidery lover that you are!
BURDA 6646 PATTERN
This evening dress pattern gives the illusion of a two-piece set when it comes to an embroidered bodice sewn into a straight dress. The V-neckline and the Basque hips add a very feminine and elegant touch. The pattern also offers the ability to sew only the bodice.
FABRICS
We went for a satin Roselyne which strongly looks like duchess type satin. It has a lower luster than other satins, which is perfect to pair with the floral embroidery without too much contrast. Due to its medium thickness, it will offer your silhouette a good support.
The bodice, meanwhile, is made of an embroidered with rose petals mesh. You could easily replace the embroidery with lace! It is better to choose a lace or embroidery previously scalloped, this will greatly facilitate the task when finishing.
DARE THE EMBROIDERY DIFFERENTLY
You have been conquered by embroidery, but you have no glam party in sight? For those of you who are wondering how to wear this fabric in a casual way, here it is! You could simply make a long or short-sleeved sweater and match it to more casual pants, even denim. It is also possible to opt for an ample skirt that you will double the fabric of your choice.
I hope you enjoyed it, we’ll see you soon! Until then, I want to wish all of you some Happy Holidays filled with magic and hot chocolate!
Don’t forget that we love to see your creations. Feel free to share them via social media using #clubtissus.
